Body Massage training courses can help transform you into a certified masseur and you can get trained in various massage techniques. This Massage course allows you to learn a routine, which will relax the client along with easing any muscle tension and fatigue.

Duration: 2 week/3 hrs a day/3 days a week

  • Strands History Philosophy & Introduction
  • Anatomy & Physiology of Body: Cells & Tissues, BodySystem, Skeleton, Muscular, Circulatory, Respiratory, Lymphatic, Digestive, Nervous & Reproductive Body System
  • Theory of Diet & Nutrition: Figure Diagnosis, Obesity & Cellulite Management, Diet & Nutrition Management.
  • Body Analysis & consultation: Body Massage, Theory of Body Massage, Body Massage Movements & Body Exfoliation Massage.
  • Electrical Body Treatments: Theory of Electricity, G-5 Machine, Vacuum Suction, Galvanic & Faradic.

Duration: 4 Weeks (5 days a week/3 hrs a day


  • Health and Safety, Strands History and Philosophy, Tanning/ Lightening Treatments
  • Physics of Water, History/ Maintenance & Hygiene of Spas Nutrition
  • Product Knowledge/Client Care, Lomi Lomi Massage, Swedish Massage, Thai Yoga Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage & Health & Hygiene, Aroma Therapy, Spa Water Treatments / Hydrotherapy
  • Body Exfoliation / Wraps & Slimming Treatments.

Duration: 8 Weeks (5 days a week/3 hrs a day)

  • Aroma therapy: This is a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile plant materials, known as essential oils, and other aromatic compounds for the purpose of altering a person’s mind, mood, cognitive function or health.
  • Lymphatic Drainage Massage (L.D.M) This is a massage which follow the pathway of the lymph fluid, found in inter cellular spaces and in the lymph vessels all over the body. . Lymphatic drainage massage stimulates the lymphatic system which is the body’s immune system.
  • Indian Head Massage The only head massage style which is internationally accepted. This massage soothes away stress and tension, leaving refreshed, relaxed mind with a rejuvenated clear & clam vision.
  • Balinese Massage: A Balinese massage uses a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatherapy oil to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and ‘qi'(energy) in the body and bring deep relaxation & wellness.
  • Hot Stone Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones.
  • Swedish Massage Swedish massage uses scientific styles of long flowing strokes to massage. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in increasing blood circulation, reducing pain & joint stiffness.
  • Shiatsu Massage Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese massage. Shiatsu technique refers to the use of fingers and palms of one’s hand to apply pressure to particular sections on the surface of the body.
  • Thai MassageThai massage originated in India and is based on Ayurveda and Yoga. The technique combines massage with yoga-like positions during the course of the massage.
  • Deep Tissue (Sports Massage) This massage is the most demanded technique of massage all over the world. It uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage.
  • Reflexology This is an ancient Chinese art of healing. Reflexologists use various points on feet and hands to apply pressure.

On successful completion of this course you will be presented with Strands graded advance diploma and one month formal training at Strands Academy Salon.

Duration: 20 Weeks (5 days a week/3 hrs a day)
